Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai,
He is a board-certified Gynecologist and board-certified Urogynecologist.
Dr. Ghafar is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as
the American College of Surgeons.
He has more than 60 publications and book chapters in the field of Urogynecology.

Dr.Ghafar is a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Louisiana State University,
after completing his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine Jamaica program,
Dr.Ghafar had additional training in advanced Gynecologic laparoscopy & Urogynecology.
